Here in Soviet Canuckistan, we're in somewhat better shape financially than the poor beleaguered United States of Amurrica. But things aren't great with Stephen Harpy and his gang of merry morons up on the hill.
Times are tough, y'all.
So it's time to spread the love. And the lovely mublogger at Motherhood Uncensored has come up with a way to do just that around the blogosphere with her Blog The Recession campaign.

It's time to start clicking through.
If you're reading all your blogs through your feed reader, then you're getting the great writing but you're not getting the ambience. The je ne sais quoi, as it were, of the blog. The banner, the layout, the personality of the bloggy home. People, we're just not appreciating each other's mad design skills. It's kind like talking to your best friend on the phone. It's good, but it's really not the same. You're getting the gossip, but you're not getting the way she flips her hair when she talks about that cutie who serves her triple venti mochachino. You're not getting the tears welling up in her eyes when she talks about her latest breakup. You're missing out. And perhaps that's leading to us feeling the recession even more. It's a recession of soul.
So start clicking through, people. For the month of August, read your blogs in their natural habitat. Improve your reading experience - and help your favourite bloggers with their page views. It's a win-win situation, natch. Get clicking!

I'm here reading on your site, doing my bit for the recession. Now I need Karma to kick in and reward me by finding a buyer for my house.
Damn this recession!
Clicking through from a fellow canuck!
I'm leaving comments for everyone on Kristen's list :) It's the least I can do!
I just joined the Blog the Recession. Such a great idea and fun as well. Another fun perk is finding great new blogs to frequent :)
Doing my part and reading blogs and clicking ads!
Soviet Canuckistan? Creative, very creative! We were in Nova Scotia in June and loved it. I think I should move there. If McCain is elected, I might have to.
Just popping in through the Blog the Recession links!
