Hitched!

My first article at Hitched! is up for your amusement.

For those of you who aren't familiar, Hitched! is an online magazine for starting the day *after* the wedding. Lots of jazzy articles on life, health, travel, cooking, and other lifestyle gems can be found here. Hitched! has been around for a few years, but the owner, Jacquelyn, reinvigorated the site recently, getting lots of great content from the women who already were members of the site's community. We all hope you'll enjoy what it has to offer!

A few notes on writing an article on having a party....

• Testing drink recipes is a great way to get soused at 3 pm on a Monday.
  
• Trying to take food photography with a Beagle around is something of a challenge.
  
• Writing an article aimed for the end of August at the start of July is a bit of a mental shift.
  
• Creative vision vs. editorial vision doesn't always "mesh". Hard, yet necessary, not to take it personally.
  
• It was still very fun.
